Check out the new Resource web page for outreach opportunities and Leadership Development Workshops UPCOMING MEETING/EVENTS Jan. 21, 2010SACNAS Study Nights Stanford University Minority Medical Alliance (SUMMA) When: Saturday, February 13, 2010 Stanford University Minority Medical Alliance (SUMMA) is a coalition of Stanford medical students, including representatives from the Student National Medical Association (SNMA), Latino Medical Student Association (LMSA), Asian Pacific American Medical Student Association (APAMSA) and Stanford American Indigenous Medical Students (SAIMS) committed to recruiting and retaining underrepresented medical professionals. The goal of the SUMMA is to increase the number of minorities in the health professional fields in order to better serve African American, Latino and Native American communities. Conference Highlights include: * Medical school recruiters from across the US Transportation will be provided by EOP: Register on line at http://summa.stanford.edu UCSC's 23rd Annual Multicultural The conference will include: Come and meet alumni from diverse backgrounds to discuss backgrounds to discuss careers, internships, and the graduate school experience. Taking UCSC Home The WRITE (Writing and Research Intensive for Transfer Excellence) Sept. 2, 2009 The UCSC SACNAS Student Chapter welcomes new members, and will be conducting community meetings in the upcoming FALL QUARTER. Membership of the chapter includes opportunities in OUTREACH, SOCIAL EVENTS, MENTORSHIP, TUTORING, as well as SCHOLARSHIPS for the SACNAS Conference 2010.
